The table below shows the new rate for each of the cities and counties. ![New CA Tax Rates - April 1, 2013](https://www.equationtech.us/hs-fs/file-25077633-png/images/new_ca_tax_rates.png) ** The tax rate within this city limit changes as a result of the county wide tax increase. Note: Williams (Colusa Co) extended its existing tax rate indefinitely. Trinidad (Humboldt Co) extended its existing tax rate to March 31, 2017. Salinas (Monterey Co) extended its existing tax rate indefinitely. Hollister (San Benito Co) extended its existing tax rate to March 31, 2018.
