If we receive additional income tax changes for 2013, a new tax update and documentation will be made available.  **Changes to the 941 form (Employer’s Quarterly Federal Tax Return)** Sage Accpac Payroll’s 941 form has been modified to reflect the IRS’ recently revised 941 form for 2013. For details of these changes, please refer to the IRS website. **Important: **If you have not printed the Form 941 form for the 2012 tax year, print your Form 941 for the 2012 tax year before you activate this tax update.  **State (or Local) Income Tax Changes** This tax update contains changes in the state (or local) income tax withholding tables for the following states, effective January 1, 2013, unless otherwise noted: - Missouri - New Mexico - Vermont **Changes to the Quarterly Wage on Disk(ette) Function** The Payroll Quarterly Wage on Disk(ette) function has been modified to reflect the reporting specification changes made by **Arkansas, California, and Maine**. If you need details about the file layout and requirements, refer to the reporting specifications issued by your government agencies and the Quarterly Wage on Diskette document. In addition to the above changes the following hotfixes are incorporated into this tax update. - Illinois Quarterly Wage on Disk(ette) - HF210-1004839 - Louisiana Quarterly Wage on Disk(ette) - HF210-1004274 - Pennsylvania Quarterly Wage on Disk(ette) - HF210-1004332 Pennsylvania PSD TCD codes on the W2 paper - 5.6: HF210-1004190, 6.0: HF210-1004199 **Update the local tax repository and rates ** This section only applies if local tax codes are used. 1.  After the tax update has been installed and activated click the **Install Repository** button in the Local and Other Custom Taxes Function to update all the local rates in the system. 2.  After the repository update finishes, click the Finder button, and select each of your local tax codes individually. For each local tax code, click the **Update** button to update the company level tax rates with the information from the repository. 3.  Click Save. **Note: **If any of your local tax codes uses the calculation method **Percentage of Base**, you must update each employee assigned that tax code to ensure that the rate at the employee level is correct. **Local Tax Legislative Changes ****** **Note:  **This section contains the Local Tax updates. If is not listed in this section, there are currently no tax changes or product modifications for that state. **Ohio**  The Caldwell Local Income Tax has been repealed, and any taxes collected from employees in 2012 are to be returned. Tax code **OH0844 **has been expired effective March 31, 2013, and rate tables have been reset to zero (0) for all of 2012. The local income tax rate for the city of Findlay (tax code **OH0408**) has decreased to 1%, effective January 1, 2013.  The South Solon local income tax (tax code **OH0835**) expired on March 31, 2012. **P****e****nns****y****lv****a****n****i****a** A new tax code has been added for the South Heidelberg Township local services tax (tax code **PA1070**). The rate is $52 annualized, prorated to pay frequency.
