I didn’t need to pay Equation to customize reports because it was simple enough to do ourselves,” says Meckes. This shift empowered them to operate more independently while still maintaining rigor and consistency in their reporting.
The schools noticed a positive difference as well. They were able to access their data more easily, faster, and securely, giving school leaders the transparency they needed to make timely decisions. Plus, since everything was in the cloud, the experience felt more modern and flexible.

Meckes explains, “What I like about Sage Intacct is they have a lot of partners, and they have a lot of solutions out there. It seems that a lot of different companies are wanting to work with the software. I do love that because it gives us a lot of choice, not just for now, but for the future.”
