Did you know it takes 64 seconds to regain your concentration after being interrupted by an email? 

When you are trying to "chip" away at a bigger project, how annoying is it to be interrupted by constant emails?! I’m sure if you compared the number of emails that were actually important enough to check vs the amount that you have checked you would be led to the fact that checking your email is actually harming your productivity. 

Here’s a tip: Instead of reading your emails as it arrives, start checking your inbox at set times each day for a fixed amount of time. If your work keeps you at your desk, you will need to disable notifications to break the cycle of constant interruptions. The fewer notifications, the more work you can get done. 

Here are the steps to Turn off those pesky email notifications:
